Lukas WernerThis study sketches an historical narratology that integrates into its approach narrative factors, the structure of the narrated world, and semantic elements. With the help of this method, the study reconstructs the diverse, simultaneously present, and sometimes contradictory conceptions of time in literary fiction from the early modern period. It demonstrates that there is not one temporality, but rather a diversity of narrated temporalities.
